The 26th annual St. Charles Fine Art Show will feature works of art from over 100 fine artists in 13 different mediums over Memorial Day weekend.

This juried art show, sponsored by St. Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 25, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 26, on Riverside Avenue between Main Street (Route 64) and Illinois Avenue in downtown St. Charles. All of the art is available for sale during this free admission event.

On Saturday afternoon, 10 Fine Art Show exhibitors will be presented with an artist award during the awards presentation. These awards recognize the artist’s originality, technique, execution, expression, and overall impression of their art.

Patrons that spend $250 or more at the Fine Art Show will receive a voucher for two tickets for a show at the Arcada Theatre, as part of the ARTcada Purchase Program. Once a visitor spends $250 on art, they will need to visit the information booth with their receipts to obtain the voucher. The voucher is valid through May 15, 2025.

Throughout the weekend, there will be a variety of family-friendly activities taking place in the St. Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Activity Zone that’s located on Riverside Avenue.

This zone will contain art-related activities for all to enjoy, including the opportunity to paint a car, organized by the St. Charles Arts Council, and several hands-on art activities for purchase, sponsored by All Things Art Studio. In addition to the juried artists, Elgin Community College will have their Emerging Artists Tent where their art students will have art available for purchase.

This year, there will be a new Art & Music Experience taking place on the 1st Street Plaza on both Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m., sponsored by Solutions Networking Corporation.

Visitors can experience the fusion of art and music as artist Alex Puryear brings the rhythm to life with a painting on a canvas. Attendees can watch him create a work of art alongside the band 13 Days on Saturday, and alongside the band FLEX Trio on Sunday.
